Fencing Manufacturer and Retailer - Conversion Consulting
This client came to us 7 months ago. They
had previously used a well-known search engine optimization company that
had done real damage to the site's usability. The site was cluttered, and was
extremely difficult for customers to navigate.
We engaged in a 3-month consultation to help
the client redesign their website by focusing on the needs of
their customers, and mapping out a more efficient navigation and
ordering process. We produced a comprehensive document
outlining all steps that had to be taken to improve the website,
including everything from site layout to marketing
strategies and store policies.
We then worked with the client's developer
to implement all of our recommendations. We managed the project
from beginning to end. Immediately after the launch of the new
website, the client's sales went up dramatically, and continue to
rise.
Specialty Eyeware Retailer - Search
Engine Optimization
This client came to us about 6 months ago.
They felt like they were too reliant on
pay per click marketing,
and wanted to balance out their search engine marketing efforts by
optimizing their site to achieve better natural rankings (free-clicks).
The client's site sells sunglasses and
related accessories to bikers, and specializes in particular
manufacturers. Initially, the goal was to obtain top 5
rankings on the major search engines (Google, Yahoo, MSN, and AOL)
on keywords related to particular brands. In addition,
placements for terms related to other brand names and particular
products were desirable.
We implemented our
Yahoo Store search
engine optimization service, which produced outstanding results
within several months. We helped the client achieve top 5 ranking on all of the major search engines for 100%
of their important keywords as well as a number of
the secondary terms. One of the critical elements to our success was cleaning
up a lot of the copy used throughout the client's website. Having
good, clean copy is critical to attaining high placements over the
long-term, but it is often neglected.
After achieving such outstanding results,
the client asked us to review their pay per click marketing
campaign. They didn't want us to manage it, they simply wanted the
benefit of our analysis and expertise. We found that while the
client thought they were wasting money on pay per click, the
campaign was actually doing extraordinarily well. The client was
ready to cancel the pay per click marketing campaigns, but our
analysis concluded that the wisest thing to do was to actually
increase the size of the campaign in order to generate more sales.
We don't manage the PPC campaign so there was no incremental
benefit to us to recommend they spend more money, except that it
was the right thing to do for the client's business.

This client came to us several years ago. At
the time, they had a non-Yahoo e-commerce website. We spent time
time discussing the benefits and drawbacks of Yahoo, and
ultimately recommended that the client move to the Yahoo platform.
The decision to move to Yahoo has proved to be a good one. We
coached the client on how to build a quality e-commerce site
that would perform well in the search engines. Combined with
our pay per click marketing services this retailer has seen tremendous sales
growth.

pay per click marketing campaign that we built, and continue
to
manage, produces increasingly strong sales. Monthly sales have grown substantially and
consistently compared to similar periods in the previous year.
